Bicycle: Hired bicycles in Orleans and Trier
Where: From Orleans to Nevers (Loire), then from Trier to Koblenz (Mosel), and then from there to the source of the Lahm
When, how long and how far: July 2011, approx. 3 weeks and 170km, 130km and 110km (total 410km)
Comments: Cycled up the Loire river from Orleans to Nevers on cycle ways, then caught train back to Orleans to return bikes, and headed to Trier. From there cycled down the Mosel, a bit of the Rhine, and up the Lahn to it’s head waters, then returned the bikes to Trier by train.
